Teams are how you'll organize your colleagues, perhaps by actual team (with groups for Marketing and Research & Development) or by project (say with a new group just for that Q4 Progress Report people are working on across teams). Teams can be open to the whole company, protected where anyone can see them but only members can edit them, or private for small groups where only members can join in. And, you can add guests to a team, where they can jump into one team without being able to see other teams or stuff discussed before they joined.Then, inside your teams, Pages are where you'll get work done. You can start with a blank page, or use the agenda, project, and file templates to help you start. Pages work just like their counterpart in any word processor, with more rich features similar to tools like Quip or Notion. Add text as normal, with formatting tools along the top to add bullet lists or headings. Or, click the + icon on the left to add tasks or events, embed maps and videos, include a survey or diagram, or share a file right in your document. You can move sections around, perhaps to add project details right below your task, with the meeting event just above—and when you've got the first versions ready, you can drop the files in as well. There's even a chat bar on the side of the page where your team can discuss changes and plan things.You can add as many documents as you need in each team, to organize new projects or brainstorm ideas. Tying it together is a group to-do list and calendar that pulls each team's events and tasks together from all the pages—and your own to-do list and calendar that show items from all teams you're part of. That keeps things from getting hidden away in documents, giving you instead a place to keep the details straight with another spot to make sure you don't forget appointments and tasks. And, each team has a group chat where you can keep discussions going across your team outside of documents—along with direct messages to as a colleague a quick question.Samepage makes that oldest metaphor of "getting everyone on the same page" a reality on the web. It's like a large whiteboard for your team to plan out ideas—one that actually turns those ideas into actionable tasks and events that you can keep track of and actually get done.
