Logging in, the first thing you’ll see is the wide and clean booking calendar. Divided into Daily and Monthly views, it shows you reservations made for each of your venues. If you have more than one venue, they are displayed side-by-side like columns on a spreadsheet. As your client base grows, the calendar gives you the visual overview you need to see all of your daily and monthly schedules. You can get right down to creating and managing reservations, or have your users place reservations on their own. Every account has its own booking unique URL (e.g. username.skedda.com/booking) which you can share with your clients so they can book venues for themselves at any time. If you’ve restricted public use, your users simply need to sign in using their Google, Facebook, or Twitter account to make a reservation. If you visit the Access and Visibility options under Settings, you can choose to limit users’ abilities to see and use your calendar. If you’d like to embed the calendar, you’ll find the embed codes you need under Integrations.If you’re an existing business with third-party apps in place, you can integrate these with Skedda's Zapier integrations. It can save you precious time and effort from your usual admin tasks. Some of these include pulling user information from MailChimp, create invoices on Xero for new bookings, or send emails when a new booking is created. With integrations in place, administration can potentially run on autopilot and you can focus on the more important business operations. This prevents double bookings while establishing transparency within your business. For example, you have Space A where two rooms are built alongside each other. If a client wishes to book Room 1, Room 2 will not be available for use.
