1.2. Confirmation of compliance of contractors aluminium systems design
1.3. Confirmation of drained rebate fittings to double glazed windows
1.4. Confirm that factory applied coatings are/will be of specified type and thickness
1.5. Establishment of fabrication policies for frameworks and opening lights
1.6. Establishment of primary and secondary defences against water penetration
1.7. Confirmation of small gap sealant used at framing joints for aluminium systems
1.8. Penetrating water discharged via logical drainage paths
1.9. Double glazing units supplied by a BSI kite marked manufacturer
1.10. Openings ready to receive windows
1.11. Perimeter DPC's correctly installed and lapped
1.12. Frameworks centred in openings
1.13. All perimeter fixings and bracketery correctly installed
1.14. Settings blocks and distance pieces correctly installed
1.15. Inner gaskets correctly installed with close butting and sealed corners
1.16. Glass undamaged and installed right way round
1.17. Rebates cleaned and drainage paths not blocked
1.18. Outer gaskets correctly installed with close butting corners
1.19. Capping beads of correct length and installed to apply correct pressure on gaskets
1.20. Window sills correctly installed
1.21. Window installation undamaged and duly protected against following trades
1.22. Any protective tape removed before it ones excessively to underlying surface
