- Racking sitting vertical and plumb
- Racking free from damage,rust and distortion
- All arms straight and in line with each other
- Anchor points in good condition both floor and wall
- Uprights free from forklift damage and other distortions
- Shin plates attached and in good condition
- All welds intact (visual inspection only)
- All bolts firmly attached and safety clips attached
- All horizontal beams correctly fitted and fully inserted into uprights
- Pallets and loads correctly stowed
- All loads meet the MRC rating
- Racking area clear of rubbish, leaves and pests
