This warehouse maintenance checklist can be used to regularly conduct maintenance inspections of warehouses. use this warehouse assessment checklist tool to ensure that different components of the warehouse facility comply with internal and international maintenance standards and keep an overall safe working place for warehouse workers.
What does this form include?
This form contains 3 sections:
General
- Is the area clean (housekeeping)
- Are electrical leads not creating trip hazards
- Walkways clear
- Are all lights working
- Is the shelving weight sign legible
- Shelfs stacked correctly (falling objects)
- Safety signage in place and legible
- First aid kit complete and in date
- Access to emergency equipment clear (fire reel, extinguisher, first aid kit)
- Lifting gear test and tag in date
- Electrical test and tag in date
- Are there no sharp edges of sheets protruding
- Are SDSs on site for hazardous chemicals
- Are fuels ect stored in ventilated areas
- PPE being worn
- Are amenities clean
- Waste bins not overful
- Waste segregated
- Forklift tickets and competences current
- Forklift pre-start complete
- Forklift maintenance up to date
- Are all personnel inducted
