Observe behaviour and practice of operators using mhe equipment in a dc environment
What does this form include?
This form contains 3 sections:
Pre-use check completed?
- Pre-use check completed?
- Correct PPE being worn?
- Is the PPE being worn to a suitable standard?
- Correct use of horn?
- No personal media players / phones in use whilst operating the truck?
- Stock transfer completed safely?
- Pallet loaded/unloaded onto racking at correct angle?
- Drives at a safe speed?
- Slows for corners and intersections?
- Always Wears safety belt?
- Checks aisles before crossing, uses horn at intersections?
- Follows other MHE at a safe distance?
- Yields to pedestrians and other MHE?
- Looks before reversing and in the direction of travel?
- Is the operator carrying the load at a safe height?
- Starts and stops are smooth, not jerking movements?
- Doesn't drive in a manner where the load restricts the view of the operator?
- Operator keeps all body parts within the running lines of the vehicle?
- No passengers?
- MHE correctly immobilised when not manned?
- No accidental contact with racking/stock/pallets/equipment?
