- External signage well maintained and clean?

- Are A-boards up to date, clean and maintained?
- Is there a show stopping window? (As per the Brand Standards Manual)
- Are windows clean and smear free?
- Is the window bed and shelf clean and crumb free?
Cleanliness
- Is the ceiling and vents clean and dust free?
- Are the walls, floor and skirts clean and well maintained?
- Are the wet floor signs used as needed and away from customer sight when not in use?
- Are the cabinets clean and the the glass smear free?
- Is the till point clean, crumb and clutter free?
- Is all outstanding maintenance correctly reported and urgent items followed up by the managers? (please comment and use pictures)
Hot display
- Is there an appropriate amount of product in the hot display and in the oven at the time?
- Are all the products being displayed in an appealing manner with no gaps?
- Are the pasties baked to perfection?
- Is there a culture of keeping the hot counter crumb free?
- Are there a minimum of 6 medium pasty's ready?
- Are pasties at the correct temperature ( 60-70 deg)?
- Are Green tongs being used for vegetarian products?
Pastry counter
- Are products displayed as per the Brand Standards Manual?
- Are all morning goodsin the window display available inside?
- All products are good quality?
- Evidence stock is moved around to create full and appealing displays?
Chillers and Coldwells
- Appropriate range of drinks available, stocked and facing forward?
- Fridge holding product at correct temperature?
- Enough sandwiches, rolls and baguettes availble for the time of day?
- Baguettes baked to standard?
- Sandwiches, rolls and baguettes produced to specification?
- All sandwiches, rolls and baguettes correctly labelled?
- **FOR SANDWICH DELI ONLY** Do the deli ingredients look fresh and appealing ?
Bread boxes
- Do bread boxes look appealing and random?
- Bread box signage and bread tins used to fill low stocked boxes effectively?
- Does the shop order enough bread? (not running out too early)?
Hot Drinks
- Is the coffee machine and equipment clean and well maintained?
- Are the team trained correctly and making hot drinks to standard?
Tills, baskets and floating shelves
- Is all stock in date and stock rotated?
- Minimum of 4 crisp flavours fully stocked in buckets?
- Are pick up lines available by till points as per the Brand Standards Manual?
- Are baskets and shelves fully stocked and looking appealing?
P.O.S
- Are all products that require a price descriptor correctly labeld?
- Are all price labels clean and in good condition (holders and label)?
- Are all posters current and in good condition?
- Are the A4 posters time relevant, clean and clearly displayed?
Customer Service
- Are all staff in the correct uniform ( hats, hair nets and badges) ?
- Is 'Taste me Try me' executed to standard and being offered by staff?
- Are all team members demonstrating positive behaviours?
- Are customers acknowledged quickly with a smile and a verbal greeting?
- Team members demonstrate good product knowledge?
- Team members offering Meal Deals and upselling?
- Are team members engaging customers (suggesting products and using marketing materials)?
