External Store Standards
- Is the window display of a high quality?- posters updated and as per planogram- store opening hours clearly visible- all appropriate window vinyls displayed e.g. No smoking sign, security posters, CPW vinyls
- Are the store facia and bus stop signage well lit and clean?
- Is the store exterior maintained to a high standard?- windows smear-free- clean paint work- no rubbish, moss or weeds
Internal Shop Floor Standards
- Is the shop floor building well maintained?- clean welcome mat and surfaces- floors, walls and ceilings clear of scratches, marks and dirt- all lighting in order
- Are health and safety standards adhered to?- clearly marked fire exits, meeting points and safety procedures- available fire extinguisher- shop floor clear of trip hazards
- Is the music playing in-store appropriate and creating a good atmosphere?
- Is the store temperature comfortable for colleagues and customers?
- Are uniform standards adhered to by all colleagues?- name badge- smart and tidy appearance
- Are promotional materials up to date, neat and as per the planogram?- Welcome podium- FSDUs- Buyers Guide stand- Foamexes
- Is all POS, including on tills, up to date and as per the planogram?- no homemade POS on the shop floor
- Are Digital Displays in order?- switched on- running appropriate content
- Are Pin Point tablets clean, charged and in order for use by all colleagues and the CJL?
- Are handset displays in order?- correct price tickets for each product- clean and uniform handset set up- handsets charged and running current content
- Do handsets have functional security as per Loss Prevention guidelines?
- Are accessory bays in order?- fully stocked- laser lined- correct pricing
- Are high end accessories locked down as per Loss Prevention guidelines?
- Are terminals clean, de-cluttered and fully equipped to welcome a customer?- no missing electrical equipment (e.g. keyboard, scanner, chip & pin device)- no paperwork or stationary- no food or drink
- Are all bins out of customer sight and emptied regularly?
Greet, Right-Sell and Close
- Perfect Greet- acknowledged with eye contact and a smile within 20 seconds- spoken to within 4 minutes- established the needs and purpose of the visit- given the consultants name
- Right-Sell- benefits of the new tariff up explained (minutes, texts or data)- final recommendation (tariff and handset) shown on tablet- showed the differences on the tablet- explained the benefits and brought to life how this could help
- Close- summarised the benefits of the recommended deal and how it matches the customer's needs- summarised the benefits of choosing CPW and gave confidence that this is the best deal- further explained the Price Promise to build confidence- showed and recommended a range of accessories for the handset- confidently took control and proceeded to the till
Back Office Standards
- Is the back office building well maintained?- clean and mark-free floors, walls and ceilings- lighting in order
- Are safety procedures/ items clear and visible?- fire exit bar removed- available fire extinguisher- safety meeting points visible
- Are security guidelines adhered to?- security cabinets locked and keys handled by BM or deputy- all demo handsets secured in a designated area- door to back office always closed
- Is the space clear of surplus stock, fixtures, fittings and POS?
- Are all handsets organised in MSC order?
- Is all paperwork filed in appropriate blue boxes?
- Are all posters, store plans and trackers updated and displayed in the designated area?
- Is the kitchen cleanliness of a high standard?- empty bins- clean sink, microwave, fridge and surfaces- cleaning products and food items stored away
- Is the bathroom cleanliness of a high standard?
- Are all employee belongings stored in the designated areas?
