What does this form include?
This form contains 7 sections:
External inspection
- Are the towers free from leaks?
- Are the towers free from evidence of drift or droplet formation?
- Are the towers free from external scale and corrosion?
- Are the chemical injection points free from leaks and in good condition?
Inlet louvres and drift eliminators
- Are the inlet louvres free form scale and debris?
- Are the inlet louvres in good condition with no gaps or physical degradation?
- Are the inlet louvres position correctly?
- Are the drift eliminators in good condition and free from scale and debris?
- Are the drift eliminators free from damage and degradation?
- Are the drift eliminators positioned correctly?
- Are the eliminators preventing visible drift?
Internal condition
- Is the sump clean and free from scale, corrosion and sediment?
- Is the packing in good condition and free from scale and debris?
- Is the water distribution even across the pack?
- Are the internal surfaces of the tower free from scale, corrosion and fouling?
- Is the distribution system clean and free from blockages?
- Are the fans free from excessive noise and in good mechanical condition?
Dosing and control equipment
- Is the dosing equipment functioning?
- Are the pumps free from leaks and in good condition?
- Is the bleed valve functioning correctly?

- Can the tower be considered to meet the required standards?
