1a. If the area is an Exclusion Zone: Does the Exclusive Control Information Tag clearly identify who the ECO is?

1b.  Can the ECO be contacted? Does the Exclusion Zone barricading conform to JH-APP-WHS-014-02 requirements?

2. Is the barricading type consistent with the JH-APP-WHS-014-01 Barricading & Signage Selection and Installation Guidance Matrix for the type of hazard involved?

3. Is the signage type consistent with the JH-APP-WHS-014-01 Barricading & Signage Selection and Installation Guidance Matrix for the type of hazard involved? Is it clean and clearly visible?

4. Is the barricading installation adequate to prevent unauthorized access for the type of hazards involved? Check for quality of implementation and effectiveness of barricading.

5. Are access points located in the barricade area and clearly identified?

6. Are the barricading and signage materials in good condition?

7. Are flashing lights and hi viz flagging/tape in place for barricading around excavations and penetrations where night shift works might be exposed to the hazards?

8. Are Authorized Employees within the barricaded area signed on to the Task Risk Assessment (TRA) or equivalent?

Is the barricade of sufficient size for work being performed?
